Chia seeds are considered a superfood, same as blueberries and quinoa. These trio pack of superfoods is great for a breakfast full of nutrients, to boost our energy levels and get ready for the day. It's a healthy option for the first meal of the day and it's very tasty too.
Ingredients for breakfast with chia seeds, blueberries and quinoa
- 1 glass of greek yogurt 10% fat (or a vegan yogurt),
- 1 tbsp chia seeds,
- 2 tbsp puffed quinoa seeds,
- 1 tbsp blueberry jam,
- 1 handfull fresh blueberries,
- decoration: white chocolate flakes.
How to prepare
Let's use a transparent glass for a beautiful visual effect. Food tastes better when it looks good.
- Start with a layer of yogurt at the bottom of the glass, then add the blueberry jam.
- Continue with a layer of puffed quinoa seeds and add on top the yogurt mixed with the chia seeds.
- For the final touches we can use white chocolate flakes and fresh blueberries.
